Do something Amazing!

We have a small English medium School for children from 4-12 years.  Our rural environment means it is difficult to get teachers with good spoken and written English.  We want to give the very best we can to our children to enable them to do well in the future.  For this reason we are looking for 4 volunteers per academic year (from June - April) to teach.  All volunteers live on our 5 acre campus at kuntinivasala and get free food and accommodation along with some pocket money.  All they have to do is provide their own flights and any insurance they need for the trip. 

We will accept people who have experience with working with children but not necessarily with a full teaching qualification.  We do require volunteers to have had a full police check clearing them to work with children. 

This area of volunteering is suitable for those looking to take a gap year and do something both different and satisfying.  It would also be great for any teachers who have perhaps taken early retirement and want to give a year doing something deeply rewarding.

Where the Gospel has never been heard.

There is a tremendous need for teaching among Christians here.  We are based in a rural village called Kuntinivasala and are surrounded by over 300 other villages that have never heard the name of Jesus Christ.   We need preachers and teachers with a proven ministry to help us with this task.  We hold a pastors conference every year in January and some teachers and preachers come for that event alone.  Others come for 3 -4 weeks to take part and do some work in our newly established churches.  There are also opportunities to go on evangelistic missions into the presently untouched areas around us and preach the Gospel.
